SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

Do you ever read Scripture and find yourself wondering, “is the Bible relevant today?” We definitely feel that disconnect. So we’ve set out to make Scripture meditations that give us a framework for how to start reading the Bible. Join us as we let the Bible be the Bible, and learn to engage with it meaningfully.

Remember What God Has Done

From the big and obvious, to the small simple details…there’s something powerful about recalling how God has worked in our past.

Whether it’s hope for the future after recalling God’s presence in our past, or simply basking in his goodness in times of hardship—his presence is there.

Read with us through this Scripture meditation on Psalm 145.

Psalm 145:4-7

4 One generation commends your works to another;

    they tell of your mighty acts.

5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—

    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

6 They tell of the power of your awesome works—

    and I will proclaim your great deeds.

7 They celebrate your abundant goodness

    and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

What This Teaches Us about God

  • He’s been faithful over generations (v. 4)
  • He does many wonderful works (v. 5)
  • He is abundantly good!! (v. 7)
