SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

 Reading the Bible is an important part of how we can grow in our faith, but we know many people question why the Bible is not relevant for today. With its old language and confusing references, it can feel irrelevant or disconnected. But these Scripture meditations are meant to help us bridge that disconnect and encounter reasons why the Bible is relevant.

I Must Belong Somewhere

We all wanna feel like we 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈– in our family, with our friends, at our church. But, sometimes, we have a hard time seeing past our own quirks or inadequacies.

The good news? God made you! The very good news? He made you to be you! The extra good news?!? Well, that’s the Gospel, friend. God became human because of you. To know you, to be with you, to rescue you, and to love you.

So, in spite of all the things we hope and wish we could do better, remember that he loves you. You have a place of permanent belonging.

That’s a pretty neat something to be grateful for.

Psalm 100:3-5

3 Know that the Lord is God.

    It is he who made us, and we are his;

    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving

    and his courts with praise;

    give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

    his faithfulness continues through all generations.
