SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

The prayer life of a Christian can feel exhausting sometimes. Here is one of our simple prayers written to help you grow in your prayer life and connect with God, especially if you don’t feel like praying. Check it out!

I’ve Found My Person

You know that person who makes you laugh (like really laugh) and keeps you glowing from the inside out? The person who’s there with you on the mountain tops and in the valley? The person who sees you at your worst and chooses to love you anyway, while also celebrating you when you’re at your best…this is your person. Your best friend.

It’s crazy to think about how we come in contact with so many people daily, and yet there are usually just a few who stick around through the good, bad, and ugly 🥴. Thankfully, though, God has wired us to live in community with one another, and this kind of friendship is intimate and life-giving— something that can never be replaced.

So, this is your reminder to hug your best friend, and if you can’t hug them in person, send them a virtual hug by sending them this post! 🫶

“Two are better than one,

because they have good return for their labor:

If either of them falls down,

one can help the other up…” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

A Prayer for Best Friends

Jesus, you called us friends and designed us to thrive in community, thank you for my person. You knew I needed them, and some days, I don’t think I would survive otherwise. It’s an honor to be their best friend and to walk through life side by side. They love me as you do, Jesus, and for that, I’m eternally grateful. To know them intimately is a blessing and getting to support my best friend through the highs and lows of life is a gift— one that I receive daily and never want to take for granted. Amen.
