God Will Lift You Up

When youโ€™re low, the best place to look is up. Look up at God, knowing heโ€™s the One who protects you, and who will lift your head. You might be down for a while, but he wants good things for you. God will lift you up.

If youโ€™re having trouble believing that today, because you feel like the โ€œgoodโ€ God wants for you is out of reach, try meditating through this Psalm with us, and talk to him about everything youโ€™re processing.

Psalm 3:3-4

3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.

What This Teaches Us about God

  • He protects his people (v. 3)
  • He lifts us up when weโ€™re down (v. 3)
  • He answers when we call out to him (v. 4)

Jesus, I praise you because I felt your shield of protection when _________.
