Do you ever read Scripture and find yourself wondering, โis the Bible relevant today?โ We definitely feel that disconnect. So weโve set out to make Scripture meditations that give us a framework for how to start reading the Bible. Join us as we let the Bible be the Bible, and learn to engage with it meaningfully.
God Will Lift You Up
When youโre low, the best place to look is up. Look up at God, knowing heโs the One who protects you, and who will lift your head. You might be down for a while, but he wants good things for you. God will lift you up.
If youโre having trouble believing that today, because you feel like the โgoodโ God wants for you is out of reach, try meditating through this Psalm with us, and talk to him about everything youโre processing.
Psalm 3:3-4
3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
What This Teaches Us about God
- He protects his people (v. 3)
- He lifts us up when weโre down (v. 3)
- He answers when we call out to him (v. 4)
