Life Goes By Pretty Fast
We talk a lot about seasons of waiting… but what about seasons when life’s going by too fast?
Wasn’t it just yesterday you graduated college… and now you’ve got a kid in kindergarten?! How did that even happen?
Suddenly, life feels like it’s moving too quickly. You knew you weren’t going to be 20 forever, but really experiencing how fleeting life can be is sometimes more bitter than sweet.
What do we do when we worry our time here might not be *enough*?
Spoiler alert: It’s not. We’re already longing for the eternity the Lord has prepared for us.
But, he has made good gifts in a good world for us to enjoy now… and what he has in store for us is even better.
So, when you start to worry that life’s going too fast… well, it might be. Lean in and enjoy the ride, knowing the eternity in store for you will be greater still.
Ecclesiastes 3:11-13
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
