Some ideas to get you started
Level 1: Novice
- š Go through your closet and donate anything that you doesnāt fit or that you donāt wear anymore
- āļø Make your coffee at home for a week instead of going to the cafe
- ā Cancel one subscription that you could go without
- š Install an ad-blocker on your browser
Level 2: Apprentice
- š Look at your weekly schedule, and try to remove something that isnāt life-giving or helpful to you or others
- š Spend this entire month reading and meditating on only one Bible passageĀ
- šø Create a budget, and identify the areas in which youāre most tempted to overspend
- āš¼ Spend extended time journaling about what you desire in this season of your life, and ask God to reveal to you his desire for you
Level 3: Master
- š± Turn your smartphone into a ādumb phoneā by setting time limits, blocking content, turning it to black and white, and deleting unnecessary apps
- š¦ Choose a period of time, like a month, or a whole year, to participate in a ābuy nothingā challenge! Try to only purchase consumables, like food, hygiene products, fuel, etc.
- š° Use the money youāve freed up from these other practices and give to a cause or family in need
