“Is the Bible relevant today?” Stories from hundreds of years ago, weird names, suuuuper long chapters. It doesn’t always feel relevant. But to read Scripture is another way for God to provide comfort, clarity, and wisdom. These Scripture meditations can help you figure out  how to get started reading the Bible.

Is God Enough for Me?

Call it what you want—the enemy, anxiety, our own insecurities—but the question, “Is God Enough for Me?” pops up often in the back of our heads, sometimes making us spiral into doubt.

When life gets complicated, it can feel like God isn’t enough. But when we long to feel refreshed, comforted, and confident about our future in him, he is trustworthy to provide all of those things for us. Because he’s our good Shepherd! Let’s explore what it looks like to be led by him.

Dive into this Scripture meditation with us as it guides us into prayer!

Psalm 23:1-4

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2     He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3     he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

    for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk

    through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

    for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

    they comfort me.
