SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

“How to get started reading the Bible”—we’ve all googled it before. No matter how far we’ve come on our faith journey, reading the Bible can be hard! We’re right there with you. We see these Scripture meditations as a way to read Scripture in a digestible way. Let’s start together, one verse at a time!

When God Feels Far Away

When God feels far away, remember that his bigness is part of why it’s worth trusting him.

Check out today’s Scripture meditation through Psalm 115.

Psalm 115:2-5,8

2 Why do the nations say,

    “Where is their God?”

3 Our God is in heaven;

    he does whatever pleases him.

4 But their idols are silver and gold,

    made by human hands.

5 They have mouths, but cannot speak,

    eyes, but cannot see.

8 Those who make them will be like them,

    and so will all who trust in them.
