Journey Through Lent, Day 35
Are you in a season of waiting? Waiting to hear back on an application, test result, or for an answer from a friend? Maybe you’re just waiting for anything to change at all.
Check out this quick testimony from Daniel where he shares how a season of waiting can have a great impact on our spiritual growth!
Testimony Q & A with Daniel Hamlin
Q: What’s the best thing you’ve learned during a season of waiting?
Daniel: During one particularly difficult season of waiting for an answer from the Lord, he reminded me that to be patient is actually to be more like Jesus. But patience can’t be learned without waiting. I’m still not a fan of waiting, but I’m starting to trust that if waiting is what helps me become more like Jesus in this small way, then it’ll be well worth it.
Scripture
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had” (Romans 15:5).
