A Prayer to Wait with Patience

SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

Psalm 27:13-14 Trying to build a prayer life can be difficult—whether you don’t know how to pray or you don’t feel like praying. So we’re here to help you connect with God with simple prayers for the everyday.

Confidence in God’s Timing

Today, we’re exploring what it looks like to “wait well”… even when God’s timing doesn’t seem perfect.

Check out this Bible verse about waiting for God’s timing

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord” (Psalm 27:13-14).

Whether you’re waiting for a new job opportunity, the repairing of a relationship, relief, peace, or you simply find yourself waiting for a new season of a show, take the opportunity to meet with God in your waiting.

What’s something you’re waiting for? Bring it to mind, and join us in this prayer to wait with patience

A Prayer to Wait with Patience

Jesus, we are a waiting people who eagerly anticipate your return. Sit with me now as I practice patience and await ___________. Bring peace to my restlessness, transform doubt to trust, and help me hear from you in this inbetween. And when my waiting ends, fill me with satisfaction and point me toward the day when my faith will be shown true and you will make all things right. Amen.
