About Us

Most of us feel like our faith should impact the way we live every day, but oftentimes it doesn’t.

Christianity can feel disconnected from our lives, irrelevant, or outdated. But we know that it’s not. It points us to Jesus, who invites us into a better way to experience life with him as we reclaim our everyday moments.

That’s why we’re creatively exploring how we connect with God in the ordinary, extraordinary, everyday moments of life. We do this through solid and compelling words and visuals that model a practical way forward.

Jesus lost a really good friend, and he cried (John 11:35). He saw the tears in the eyes of his other close friends who were impacted by this loss, and he cried.

Our God is a God who doesn't shy away from pain and suffering, but feels it. He experiences it. So whatever loss you're experiencing today, know that it may not make sense, you may even blame God (and that's okay), and God is shedding tears with you.

Tired of being the bigger person? Especially when others don’t seem concerned with the best way to handle things, and are just looking out for themselves?

Even when it’s tempting to stop being the bigger person, it’s not worth the cost. Press on, friend. Keep faithfully choosing what is good, honest, and peaceful. That’s all you can control (and even when you aren't strong enough to make that choice, God will help you!).

👀 Check out today’s Scripture meditation for some encouragement!

𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟯𝟳:𝟯𝟳-𝟯𝟴
37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
a future awaits those who seek peace.
38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
there will be no future for the wicked.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱:
You will uphold those who choose what is right (v. 37)
You give a future to those who seek peace (v. 37)
You don’t allow wrong-doing to go on forever (v. 38)

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲
I praise you, God, because even though _________ feels so unfair now, your long-term plan is to right all wrongs!

Lord, when it comes to _________, it doesn’t seem like I have much of a future, even though I’ve tried to choose what is right.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀
Please help me understand what the most upright way to handle _________ is, because I feel unsure about it.

Give _________ (name) the strength to seek peace in their current situation, even though they’ve been hurt by _________.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀
Jesus, when it comes to _________ this week, I will choose to seek peace by listening well to others, instead of trying so hard for my voice to be heard.

Lord, I look forward to having a future with you because _________.

Maybe praying for others comes naturally to you, or maybe you’re the type that has to set reminders (no shame! 😅).

Either way, 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 to pray for someone doesn’t always = knowing how to pray for them.

Honestly, we’re convinced that simply bringing your desire to pray for someone to God counts (after all, 𝘩𝘦 knows what they need). But if you’re looking for some specific words, check out this full prayer of hope for a friend:

𝗔 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱
Giver of Joy, you made a way for [my friend] to experience abundant life. But they’re struggling to find hope right now. Present God, your nearness is the greatest pleasure in life. Would you show [my friend] first-hand how true this is? Bless them with the joy of being in your presence. Show them how hope and hard things can go hand-in-hand. And please, make yourself known to them today. Amen.

𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:11).
Whether we like it or not, we tend to associate with people who are like us. We gravitate toward people who are in a similar stage of life, share our interests, root for the same sports team or like the things we like.

But that doesn't always bode well for the new person. The outsider, trying to find their way in.

Maybe you are that new person, waiting for someone to initiate a conversation.

Or perhaps God is calling you to extend a hand to someone in your network.

“Find rest, my soul, in the presence of Jesus.”

Dang it if I am not needing His presence more and MORE.

Recently without Him, I’d be a ball of gelatinous human emotions… but I’d rather be resting… so catch me there, how bout’ dat.

Naturally. 🙄🤦.

Anyone else find themselves letting another ""sure, I'll do that"" slip out of their mouth before realizing what you've done??

Let's set healthy boundaries so we can say better yeses and be more present (and maybe less stressed? 😬) when we show up!
It might feel silly to keep thanking God for ways he's answered your prayers (I mean, he probably gets it, right? You're super grateful!), but alas, it is not. 🤷‍♀️

Here are my thoughts: by continuing to thank God for his provision, we're not only giving him praise through our gratitude, we're also reminding ourselves of something very important: that we have a God who hears our prayers, knows how to provide for us, and gives us abundant blessings.

Now, that's a God worth trusting with all our current prayers.
