Some ideas to get you started

Level 1: Novice

  1. 📖 Memorize Proverbs 16:9 
  2. ✅ Make a pros and cons list of a decision you’re facing
  3. 🗣 Chat with a friend about something you’re frustrated by 
  4. 🕊 Make a habit of praying throughout your day, “Holy Spirit, where are you in this?”

Level 2: Apprentice

  1. 🤫 Integrate more silence into your quiet time
  2. 📓 Journal about some of the most important decisions you’ve made in your life, looking for how God was present
  3. 🧘🏻‍♂️ Make a habit of practicing Lectio Divina, growing in your capacity to listen for God’s voice
  4. ☕️ Get coffee with an older person you respect, and ask them to tell you about some important decisions they’ve made through their life

Level 3: Master

  1. 👵🏽 Ask someone to be your mentor
  2. 🪑 Try out spiritual direction, professional therapy, or counseling
  3. 🏘 Put together a group of people you trust and process a big decision you’re facing 
  4. 🤔 Consider which people, media, or habits in your life are negative influences, and take a step away from them
