A Prayer When Feeling Peace

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE

Isaiah 26:3

A simple prayer is all it takes to connect with God every day. And if you don’t know how to pray, no worries! We’ve got you covered. Check out this simple prayer below to get started!

I Feel Peaceful

Some moments just feel still in the best way. Nothing needs fixing. Nothing feels urgent. You’re not striving, stressing, or solving—just being.

That feeling of peace is rare. And when it comes, we want to hold onto it.

Maybe it shows up during a quiet cup of coffee, a peaceful walk, or a moment of prayer. Or maybe, it’s something unexplainable—an inner calm in the midst of a noisy world. Whatever brings it, Scripture calls this kind of peace a gift from God. It’s not just an emotion, it’s a fruit of his Spirit, planted deep in us.

But peace doesn’t always stay long. Life moves fast, and worries return. So, when you do feel peace, take a second to thank the One who makes it possible. And ask him to root it in you, so that when storms come (and they will), you’ll remember what it felt like to be still and held.

Here’s a scripture and a prayer for that kind of peace.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you” (Isaiah 26:3)

A Prayer When Feeling Peace

Prince of Peace, in this rare quiet, I feel settled. My heart isn’t grasping for more, my mind isn’t racing ahead—I’m simply here, resting in the stillness. Like Mary at your feet, like John leaning against your chest, I’m thankful for this moment of calm, this deep exhale, this sense that I am held by the quiet assurance of your love. Let this peace take root in me, so that no matter what comes, I know I can always return to you. Amen.
