About Us

Most of us feel like our faith should impact the way we live every day, but oftentimes it doesn’t.

Christianity can feel disconnected from our lives, irrelevant, or outdated. But we know that it’s not. It points us to Jesus, who invites us into a better way to experience life with him as we reclaim our everyday moments.

That’s why we’re creatively exploring how we connect with God in the ordinary, extraordinary, everyday moments of life. We do this through solid and compelling words and visuals that model a practical way forward.

Fresh air. A breeze. Standing in a moving river with a fly pole. 🎣

Watching a sunset over the mountains. ⛺Sleeping in a tent. S’MORES! The outdoors aren’t for everyone, but if you’re still reading this, they’re probably for you! 😄

What is it about nature that can make the world feel okay again? Why do worries and anxious thoughts flow away when a Copper John is on the end of a fly line? Could it be that, for some of us, creation makes us feel closest to our Creator? Is there something that’s, well, just 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 about being outside?

If you’re one of those people that comes to life when you’re surrounded by trees, mountains, or trout... this prayer is for you.

“In his hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land” (Psalm 95:4-5).

Creator God, at the beginning of time, your voice brought light into the darkness. Your hands shaped dry land. Your creativity exploded in colors, shapes, and smells. Your breath brought life to all creatures. As I step outside, may I discover the light of your presence, hear your purpose-giving voice of direction, and be amazed and inspired by your creativity. And as I breathe in fresh air, may you fill me with the breath of your Spirit who brings me true peace, rest, and strength. Amen.
Life so often feels outside of our control. And, really, lots of things are. But, accepting this can bring peace instead of worry. What might be outside of our control is never out of his. We know God can do anything, and that all of his purposes will be accomplished. Try this breath prayer with us.

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:17).

Breath Prayer is a way of aligning your breathing with a short prayer or psalm, in order to slow you down and draw you closer to God. You only need a line or two of scripture to help ground and comfort you in the truths of his nearness and his love.

Your brain isn’t turning off anyways, so what’s the harm in checking your feed one more time? Well, one more article or one more video quickly spirals into hours of scrolling, scrolling, scrolling… How is it already 3 am? And how are there so many TERRIBLE things going on?

Doomscrolling can become a vicious cycle. Our already anxious minds become even more dysregulated with a lack of sleep and an influx of stressful stories.

While there are so many real and important problems to spend our energy on, here’s a Scripture we meditate on and a prayer for when the never-ending troubles of this world become too overwhelming.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

God of the formless and void, you bring order into chaos. I cannot handle all of the access I have to the strife of this world. Redeemer, bring peace to the turmoil in all corners of your Kingdom. Set my eyes on you, and teach me to be an instrument of your peace. Release me from my compulsions to see all that is wrong and the burden of trying to carry so much, and show me instead where you’re at work. Amen.
